How do I confirm a reservation?
We will allocate one exclusive Travel Counselor to process your reservation, Once the hotels/itinerary and the costs have been finalized, The Counselor would send a Performa invoice listing the amount payable, reservation details and the package inclusions, if you are satisfied with the details we will start to process the reservation.
How much advance do I pay and when?
We would need a 10- 25 % advance payment to process the reservation, after we receive the confirmations and payment time limits from respective hotels, we would inform you of the final payment schedule, which would vary from hotel to hotel, seasons and the Destination.
What is a Confirmation Voucher?
Once the reservation is confirmed and the advance is received. We will send you a confirmation voucher detailing all the details pertaining to the particular reservation. by email /courier. This should be presented to the hotel at the time of check-in.
How do I know if my hotel reservation is confirmed?
The hotel confirmation voucher sent by us has a confirmation number/name of the person who confirmed the reservation along with the hotel phone number/contact details. You are welcome to check the status of your reservation from the hotel directly.
Do I need to reconfirm my booking with the hotel directly?
No, a copy of the hotel confirmation voucher issued by us is also sent to the hotel/s.
How long does it take to get a confirmation?
24 to 48 hours.
Changing / Cancelling a Reservation
What is your cancellation policy for hotel reservations?
If the reservation is cancelled/revised, it is subject to terms and conditions levied by the respective hotel/s. This policy is not uniform and depends on various factors such as the seasonality, the duration between the cancellations/modifications and the Check-in Date, the kind of rate on which the reservation was made, All these conditions are applied by the hotels and not The Trippers. In case of modifications/cancellations, we would charge a 10 % processing fee.
