Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Jammu – Transfer to Katra

Upon arrival at Jammu Railway Station or Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Katra, the base for your Vaishno Devi pilgrimage. The scenic drive through the foothills of the Himalayas sets the mood for your spiritual journey. Once you reach Katra, check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can explore the local market and prepare for your trek to Vaishno Devi the next day.

Day 2: Vaishno Devi Pilgrimage

Early in the morning, embark on the holy trek to the Vaishno Devi Shrine, located at an altitude of 5,200 feet. The 13-kilometer trek is filled with spiritual energy as pilgrims chant and climb toward the sacred cave shrine. You can also opt for a helicopter ride or pony for convenience. After seeking blessings from Mata Vaishno Devi, you may choose to visit Bhairon Baba Temple, located a little higher up the hill. Return to Katra after the darshan and relax at your hotel after the fulfilling spiritual experience.

Day 3: Katra – Patnitop – Srinagar

After breakfast, check out and drive to Srinagar with a stop at Patnitop, a serene hill station known for its panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains and dense pine forests. Take a short break to enjoy the beauty of this hidden gem before continuing your journey to Srinagar. Arrive in Srinagar by evening and check in at your hotel or houseboat. Spend the evening at leisure, relaxing by the Dal Lake or exploring the local market.

Day 4: Srinagar – Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the charm of Srinagar by visiting its famous Mughal gardens. Start with Shalimar Bagh, the “Abode of Love,” followed by Nishat Bagh, the garden of joy, and Chashme Shahi, known for its natural spring. Post lunch, enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake, experiencing the serene beauty of floating gardens and houseboats. Later, visit the Hazratbal Shrine*, a prominent religious site, before returning to your hotel.

Day 5: Srinagar – Gulmarg Excursion

Post breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Gulmarg, a paradise for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. Known for its vast meadows and alpine scenery, Gulmarg is a year-round destination. During winter, it’s a popular ski resort, while in summer, it offers activities like pony rides and scenic walks. Take the famous Gondola ride* to Apharwat Peak for breathtaking views of the snow-covered mountains. After a day of adventure, return to Srinagar.

Day 6: Srinagar – Sonamarg Excursion

After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Sonamarg, the "Meadow of Gold." The 2.5-hour drive offers stunning views of mountains and rivers. Once in Sonamarg, you can explore Thajiwas Glacier* or enjoy a pony ride. The meadows are a paradise for photographers, with colorful blooms during the summer and snow-covered vistas in winter. After a day spent in nature’s lap, return to Srinagar by evening.

Day 7: Srinagar – Pahalgam

Check out after breakfast and head to Pahalgam, a quaint town famous for its scenic valleys, located about 4-5 hours from Srinagar. On the way, you can witness saffron fields and pine forests. Upon arrival, visit the iconic Betaab Valley (named after a famous Bollywood movie) and Aru Valley, both known for their stunning landscapes. You can also opt for a pony ride to Baisaran or enjoy the picturesque views along the Lidder River.

Day 8: Pahalgam – Jammu Departure

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your return journey to Jammu. You will be dropped off at Jammu Railway Station or Airport for your onward journey, concluding a memorable 7N/8D tour of Vaishno Devi and Kashmir.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However no refund will be provided for the same.
The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.
